Well we just got back from an amazing convention and camp. The Lord's Power was so strong. At convention Adam Clifton got the Holy Ghost and joined The Church. very exciting. Bro Chris Clarkson said He needed the Holy Ghost put his hand on him and than Adam instantly received it. And than Bro Daryl got the Holy Ghost and it was all over him for days... We had A battle getting to camp. Daniel and I were heading to camp early to meet with Phil the guy who runs the camp and just before we were to pull out of Albuquerque our car broke down. 2 1/2 hours of work on it and LOTS of stress for a $5.00 piece that broke. Thank the Lord it wasn't worse. How many people does it take to fix a car??? The whole Church of God. seems like everyone there was trying to help. What wonderful people we have. We got to the camp and than Daniel and Chris Thompson left to go get the food for camp. They didn't get back until 11 pm. We told everyone there was going to be dinner that night but we thought it was going to be much earlier than that. So with the help of everyone we warmed up hot dogs gave them out and sent everyone to bed. Day 1 camp.... Due to a stressful day before, Daniel woke up with a migraine, He felt like his head was going to just explode. Bro Chris and Bro Jon went down to the cabin to pray for him and a while later they came back and Bro Chris told me "oh your husband is healed" he said they prayed and than prayed and prayed and than Daniel stood up and started to praise the Lord and was healed. migraine was gone... WOW PRAISE THE LORD.... When I got up I heard something in the woods and I looked around what did I see, Bro Daryl having a good time with the Lord. The Holy Ghost stay all over him for Days. he just couldn't contain it. The service was so powerful. Some wanted the Holy Ghost so Bro Clarkson had everyone Pray in one mind and one accord and boy did we. I think everyone in that place was hit by the spirit at the same time. Amazing. Day 2 I heard Bro Daryl again in the woods :-) Everyone was in such good moods but tired. Little Sam Thompson started seeking the Holy Ghost. Oh, he blessed me so much watching this little guys praying and seeking with his whole heart. Day 3 Little Sam got back into the altar and kept seeking for the Holy Ghost until he received it. Very neat. If I am right there were 3 Saved, 5 sanctified, 5 filled with the Holy Ghost and 7 healings. When service was over we decided to have an auction with the left over unopened snack shack and kitchen food. We couldn't get it back down to sam's club to return it so we just wanted to get a little back from it. Well everyone got into it and wanted to help the church and I think we made over $500.00 for everything.Crazy... The best part was there was a girl Kate who worked at the camp, She was sitting outside the tent pretty much the whole service and came in and joined us at the end. so she was there during the auction. when we got to the case of Gatorade we were already up to $60.00 she said I will give you $300.00 for it. we were all speechless. Bro Chris Clarkson thanked her for helping the church and she said she was going to help our camp out anyways she wanted to see us come back. WOW a place that wants us. very cool. There was so much more that happened but these are just a few highlights. I can tell you I think this is for sure one of the best conventions and camps yet. God Blessed so mightily.
